HOW I STARTED IMPERFECT NUTRITION

About Amy Mackenzie

“When it comes to nutrition, there is often no clear right or wrong. It is important to consider what works best for an individual.”

ABOUT AMY MACKENZIE

As a registered and licensed dietitian with more than thirteen years of nutrition coaching experience, I have helped thousands of clients achieve their weight loss and health goals.

I believe changing habits is an essential part of achieving lasting change, and nutrition recommendations must allow for flexibility while focusing on consistency, not perfection.

I graduated with a BA in Psychology from Williams College, where I was a member of the women’s varsity basketball and track & field teams for four years. After college, I spent six years working in the financial services industry in New York City before deciding to pursue a career centered around my passion for health and wellness.

How I started Imperfect Nutrition

Prior to starting Imperfect Nutrition in 2017, I worked as a dietitian helping individuals lose weight in a clinical setting for five years. I completed my dietetic internship at University of Wisconsin Hospital & Clinics, and worked as a research assistant at Columbia University Medical Center on a meta-analysis of the effects of omega-3 fatty acids on depression
